Mopping Up!

Norwex mop systems have been shown to be far more effective at removing bacteria from floor surfaces than other reusable mops. They are also extremely economical to use when compared to mops requiring disposable pads. Do we really want to create more waste and spend more money every time we clean our floors?

The University of California Davis Medical Center found that that lifetime cost of using microfiber mops was 60% less: they could reduce chemical costs associated with mopping by 95% and save 20% in work effort per day. These tests also showed that microfiber was able to penetrate surface pores and remove dust better than traditional mops. Traditional wet mop cleaning removed bacteria on the floor surface by 30%, but in cleaning with a microfiber mop there was a 99,9% reduction in bacteria!

Norwex Organic Herbs Cream

A completely natural cream used to ease tired, aching muscles. Norwex Herbs Cream contains:

Organic Aloe Vera, (note this is the inner leaf gel of the Aloe Barbedensis. Many products which contain Aloe also include the outer leaf which is poisonous and increases the signs of aging. Wheat Germ and Olive Oils, Lavender, Sage, Rosemary and Sweet Orange. These ingredients are hydrating, soothing, nourishing, antispetic, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, toning/astringent, anti-depressant
No added preservatives - due to the high content of natural ingredients which have their antimicrobial properties

Natural Extracts include:

Devil's Claw (healing and anti-inflammatory)
Leopard's Bane (healing; causes the capillaries to open up enabling waste from tissues to be more easily removed)
Mint, antiseptic, toning and analgesic
Pine - skin purifying, anti-microbial

For headaches, masaage a small amount of herbs cream on the temples - relieves headaches where pain killers have not worked

For joint/muscle pain, apply with a gentle rubbing motion

Herbs cream is not be recommended for pregnant women as when taken in high volumes Peppermint oil can stimulate the uterus. Although there are small quantities in this product, it would be advisabe to avoid using during pregnancy.

Sanira Toilet Brush & Refill

A biodegradable, vegetable based cleaning agent. Both the brush and cleaning solution are produced from environmentally friendly raw materials. Most commercially available products take 30 days to break down, the Sanira takes about 48 hours and is therefore far better for the enviornment. The brush provides proper application and the solution within the dispenser lasts 1 toilet about 1 year, if you clean twice a week. The first system comes with a year supply. The brush has no cavities where bacteria can thrive so it will not contaminate the surfaces you are cleaning.

The correct amount of solution is dispensed each time. Simply press brush into the holder for about 4 seconds to fill the brush with the disinfectant. Flush the toilet, then scrub and let the solution sit on surface for 10 minutes before flushing away.

To clean, simply rinse the brush after each use and place into holder.

Sanira system is the perfect answer to magnesium. Magnesium carbonate and other carbonates dissolve at pH4 and below. The pH in the sanira system is around 2. This is why it works.

Shower Green!

Many of us know it is better for our health and the environment when we stop using chemicals to clean our homes...but we often don’t consider the products we use in the shower. Norwex Shampoo, Conditioner and Bath & Shower Gel all contain wonderful natural ingredients that nourish our skin, scalp, and hair and are NOT contaminated with pesticides, nor made of petroleum in labs.

While there are many other natural products, most contain synthetic solvents, artificial colours, fragrances and preservatives, all of which are not particularly good for our skin OR the environment. It is not just the final use of these ingredients at issue, but also their manufacturing process, which is often not that environmentally friendly.
The fact that most of the natural ingredients in Norwex products are grown organically is also a wonderful environmental benefit – protecting not only ourselves, but the people who produce the crops, the wildlife where the crops are grown, and the integrity of the soil. An added benefit is the effect these products have on our skin; by not containing irritating ingredients, our skin retains moisture better, thus reducing the need for moisturizers. The most important benefit is to children, who only require a tiny amount. When using Norwex products, it is reassuring for parents to know their children are not being exposed to dozens of synthetic chemicals every time they bathe!
